Kate Gardiner

Kate graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a BA in Media Arts. She worked her way east from Arizona with newspaper internships in Iowa and Rhode Island before landing as a full-time photojournalist for The Day, a regional daily newspaper based in New London, Conn. While there, she met Jason, a sports writer at the paper and the two were married in Sept 2007. Soon after, the pair jumped ship from journalism, moving south to St. Augustine, Fl where Jason took a job in public relations and Kate began shooting weddings and portraits full-time. Kate is the primary photographer, creative director and photography guru at KGP. While Jason’s day job has made it tough to be a part of the day-to-day operations, he still lends a hand from time to time. Kate’s team of assistants and second photographers have picked where he left off and all of them would love to be a part of your event or photograph your family!
