Sonja D. Williams, author of Word Warrior: Richard Durham, Radio, Freedom, will speak at the AAUW luncheon on January 12 at 11:30 at Amici Italian Restaurant. She will also discuss her work as a broadcast journalist and media producer. Williams is a professor at Howard University in the Department of Media, Journalism and Film. Cost for luncheon is $25 inclusive of entree, beverage, tax and tip. Prepaid reservations due by January 4.
