Join us to commemorate the peaceful transfer of La Florida from Spanish hands to British in 1763.
In commemoration of the many flags that have flown over St. Augustine for more than 450 years, join park staff, volunteers and the St. Augustine Garrison for a changing of the flag ceremony. Today we commemorate the 1763 transfer from Spanish control to British rule. Ceremonies take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Regular entrance fees apply.
