The volunteers of Florida Living History, Inc., will participate in this unique, living-history Event, which retells the saga of travelers fleeing to freedom in Spanish Florida on America’s original “Underground Railroad.”

Travel back in time and experience the journey to Fort Mose!  Celebrating Black History Month, the volunteers of Florida Living History, Inc., will participate in this unique, living-history Event, which retells the stirring saga of travelers fleeing from slavery in the English colonies to freedom in Spanish Florida on America’s original “Underground Railroad.”  Fort Mose Historic State Park is the site of the first, legally sanctioned free black settlement in the continental U.S., established in 1738.

ADMISSION INFO

Admission to this heritage Event is free of charge to the public.  There is a Museum admission fee of $2.00 per adult; children, age 5 and younger, are free.
