Welcome Yule! - The St. Augustine Community Chorus

The St. Augustine Community Chorus, under the direction of Mike Sanflippo, is pleased to announce the opening of their 2016-2017 concert season with two December performances of Welcome Yule! The chorus will be joined by the St. Augustine Youth Chorus which is directed by Kerry Fradley. The chorus will be performing Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols with harp accompaniment along with several favorite traditional choral arrangements of John Rutter, Mack Wilberg, Gustav Holst, and Rene Clausen. The program will again feature wonderful excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, with chamber orchestra and will include the crowd favorite sing along of the “Hallelujah Chorus” as well as several well-known Christmas carols. The chorus is both excited and delighted to join you in celebration of the holiday season by presenting this joyous concert to our community.
