This event is a collaborative fundraising partnership with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) with VISIT FLORIDA and Vilano Beach Main Street to raise awareness of how the coastal community and area dining benefit visitors and residents. This will be an annual event each spring in the Vilano Beach Town Center. This event features Chef Competition among High School Culinary students. Five teams from around the area will compete under the tutelage of master chefs. There will be a Dish of the Day featuring classics common to Northeast Florida. Ten additional food stations will offer favorite dishes. Some samples may be offered by restaurateurs for a nominal donation. Area wine and beer will be on site.

The event begins at 12 pm under a large tent in the Vilano Beach Town Center along Poplar Avenue across from Publix. Entertainment includes: Showtime USA, Legacy Irish Dancers, Ron Norris, Amy Hendrickson, Dewey Via, Sam Pacetti, Chelsea Saddler, Smokin’ Joe Schauer, and Crawford Boyd.

Entry fee donation of $5 benefits FRLA ProStart Scholarships and Vilano Beach Main Street. (Children under 6 free.) Sponsorship and sponsor tables are available – first come first served.

Entertainment and food is continuous from 12 noon til 8pm.
