    Nature-bound. Born in land-locked Pennsylvania but drawn to the coast. Initially having moved to St. Augustine, Florida to attend Flagler College in 2007; after graduating my enthusiasm for the local environment and inspiration drawn from it, has only grown. I began in the print industry directly after college, as the demand for philosophers during a recession is quite often lower than one would expect (a little humor). While learning the economics & technical skills of producing in the print industry; I had the opportunity of attending First Coast Technical College on full scholarship and graduated top 3 in my class in Aerospace Fabrication. Since graduation, I've been selling commission-based glass sculptures and delegate my print-career to problem solving specialty substrates while working hand-in-hand with local & passionate business owners. If you need a solutions architect that enjoys actively engaging in a learning environment in hopes of achieving the best final result, chances are that we may work well together.     About Oberini Glass is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Ana Willow Obermayr and Conar Piermarini. Ana Willow's family have all been artists for four generations, both of her grandparents were professors of art, and her great grandmother, Mathilda, painted masterworks in ceramics in a porcelain factory in Vienna in the 1800s. Ana Willow Obermayr has been blowing glass since 1994. She studied under a master and other artists for seven years in Seattle, attendede Pilchuck Glass School, University of Miami, and Eugene Glass School with Maestro Pino Signoretto, and in Portland with the Maestra Karen Willenbrink. Conar's great grandfather Giuseppi, designed La Scala Opera Hall in Milan Italy in the 1600s. Conar Piermarini has been painting and composing electronic music since the early 1990's. He studied architecture and design in North Carolina and at Miami Dade College. Between the two of them, Obermayr and Piermarini have channeled all those generations of talent, and their own well developed skills, into the execution of some of the finest contemporary glass lighting, vessels, and sculptural designs available today. Together they are Oberini, a labor of love.

    TIDAL TREASURES NATURAL SEAGLASS ART Each special piece of seaglass in our collection is personally found by artist Aimée Wiles Banion on local beaches near St. Augustine, FL to islands throughout the world. She studyies tide charts, storm paths, moon phases and Google Earth to maximize her chances of finding the best, frostiest,most unusual pieces of these beautiful weathered shards of history. The ocean shapes each piece of her authentic seaglass, and no two pieces can ever be exactly alike. All of Tidal Treasures’ jewelry is made with all sterling silver.     Marlene is an award-winning stained glass artist. Prior to moving to St. Augustine in 2003, she lived and worked in New York and North Carolina. She was first introduced to the art of stained glass while living and working in Switzerland. She derives much of her inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of St. Augustine. She is a member of the St. Augustine Art Association and a board member of Art Galleries of St. Augustine.  She is also President of the Professional Artists of St. Augustine (P.A.S.t.A) Fine Art Gallery, 214 Charlotte St., St. Augustine, Fl, where her work can be viewed.
