The Gatorbone Trio   The members of The Gatorbone Trio have been performing together for over 25 years and have put together over the years a special show of tunes including notable originals, standards, bluegrass, swing with a twist of gypsy thrown in for good measure.    Members include Gabe Valla, Lis and Lon Williamson. Gabe plays guitar and mandolin, Lis is the rhythm guitarist and also plays banjo and tenor guitar. Lon holds it all down on the upright bass. Everyone sings. When available, they are joined by their longtime bandmate, Jason Thomas on fiddle and mandolin.  Then, it’s The Gatorbone Band.    www.reverbnation.com/thegatorboneband    They spend a lot of time in the studio together as well, recording and collaborating on productions for singer-songwriters in Florida and beyond. Look for them in the Sing Out Loud Festival September 10th at the Colonial Quarter Stage at 2:45 pm.    The Gatorbone Band is doing a special show this month too. August 28th, we’ll be performing at the Limelight Theatre’s Music In The Box concert series starting at 6:00 pm. That evening we’ll be recording and filming our show for some live projects! We hope you can be a part of that. 11 Old Mission Rd., St. Augustine      *  *  *

”Songs from the Heart” It’s hard to throw Salt & Pine into a specific musical category. Hint’s of 90’s Alternative, Folk Revival, and Bluegrass all seep into their eclectic mix. The enthusiasm and kinship is contagious, and their songs stem from that bond. Formed in St. Augustine in 2017, Salt and Pine hit the ground running. Within a year of their formation they had released their debut album, played shows with the Grammy Award winning Steeldrivers, Chatham County Line, and the Ruen Brothers, and completed their first east coast tour.
