Jamie DeFrates

Jamie finds inspiration all around him. He lets the music move him as if he were its instrument. When he was growing up, he had a radio show along with his parents called The Golden Gospel Hour.  Jamie has always had a great passion for music, melody and rhyme. He got his first guitar when he was 10 years old and fell in love and it set the course for his whole life.

On the streets of San Francisco around  Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghirardelli Square is where he first experienced his love for performing live. He followed his dream around the country until he landed in St. Augustine, Florida. Jamie has been writing songs all of his life but it wasn’t until he started writing music for film, video documentaries  and theme park rides that he found his niche.  He loves collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music.
