John Suchy

John Suchy was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1946 and grew up in Westbury, Long Island, New York.

He studied art at the School of Visual Arts, The Art Students League, the Pan American Art School in New York City. For many years, he worked for several New York City advertising agencies and studios as a designer and illustrator. He bgean drawing and painting Manhattan in 1968 and displayed his work on the street for years before making it to gallery walls. Eventually , I worked my way from the streets into several Art Galleries.

Currently, John is represented by the Central Park Art Gallery on West 57th street near the Art Students League School.

A new resident of St. Augustine, John already has a wonderful collection of paintings, drawings, and prints of the Ancient City, which is currently on view at P.A.St.A Gallery on Charlotte Street.
