Mel Bashore

Mel Bashore resides in Downtown St. Augustine and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. Inspiration for the Elemental / Gold Threads series is drawn from our coastal location and climate change, as well as a lifelong fascination with maps, lines, graphic patterns and repetition of shape and line found in nature. The water all around us reflects the sun, ripples with ever-changing patterns and holds great power, beauty and chaos.
