Amiro Art & Found presents New Orleans artist Matteo Neivert. A new solo exhibit of paintings, "Roots" will explore plants, evolution, the ocean, Earth and its elements---both real and imaginary. Neivert, a self-described "magical realist", is inspired by the strength and fragility of nature. His paintings in "Roots" range from the serene--a series of haunting landscapes of icebergs adrift in the ocean at dusk--to the whimsical, with a study of exotic seashells skimming the sky.
