The second annual St. Augustine History Festival takes place from May 10-14, 2023.
A curator’s talk and exhibit on “Black Exploitation through Currency.” Artifacts will be shared in a pop-up exhibit on the various usages of items used as money that aided in the slave trade, as well as items utilizing Black caricatures in marketing.
This Special Event will take place on the second floor of the Lincolnville Museum & Cultural Center on Friday, May 12 at 2 PM.
