The local AAUW branch offers scholarships each year to local college or university students, male or female, who are residents of St. Johns County. The branch also sponsors 8th graders from St. Johns County middle schools to attend the AAUW Florida Tech Trek camp for girls. In addition, this year the branch held a Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Panel Discussion for the public. Monies for their initiatives are raised by the annual LUNAFEST festival that will be held at the Lincolnville Museum on Saturday, April 15.
