Music at Grace will host a Children’s Choir Festival. There are several local children’s groups participating, and the festival is open to local singers in grades 3 through 8. This is a fine opportunity for children to experience the fun and excitement of making music together. Parents of interested guest singers may register by email to music@gracestaugustine.org . The workshop begins at 9:30 am. There will be rehearsal of combined songs, social time, and lunch. There is no fee to participate.

Singers from St. Augustine Youth Chorus, St. John’s Academy Chorus, Memorial Presbyterian Children’s Choir, St Anastasia Children’s Choir, and Children of Grace UMC will lead our guest singers. The workshop includes vocal training and rehearsal of a variety of music with 60 plus young singers. Mike Sanflippo, Music Director of the St Augustine Community Chorus and Grace UMC, and Kerry Fradley, Director of the St Augustine Youth Chorus, will lead the workshop. Lunch and social time will also be included. A free concert, open to the public, will showcase the singers from 3 to 4 pm. A free-will offering will be collected.
