The chorus traditionally presents three concerts a year: a holiday program including portions of Handel’s Messiah and other music; a mid-season Pops program of popular songs and show tunes; and a spring program featuring major choral works.
The St. Augustine Community Chorus, under the direction of Mike Sanflippo, is pleased to present Curtain Up! Broadway Encores as part of its 2016-2017 concert season in beautiful downtown St. Augustine. This year our annual Pops Concert features selections from the vast repertoire of the Broadway stage with medleys from Fiddler on the Roof, Carousel, Chicago, Ragtime, The Wiz, and Les Miserables, with an instrumental ensemble and our accompanist Ray McDonald. Concert tickets: Adults $15 in advance and $20 at the door, $5 for students and military with ID.
