Demo of Collagraph Printmaking By Debra Mixon Holliday

Artist Debra Mixon Holliday is Butterfield Garage’s featured artist for the month of September.

On September 18 from 1-3 PM, stop by Butterfield Garage to see how she uses non-toxic materials in her printmaking process.

She crafts plates from simple mat board building up and cutting into the surface, while avoiding the chemicals typically associated with the traditional etching of copper plates. This low-tech approach feels very appropriate to convey the small stories and the specialness of the environments she depicts, as well as our relationships with them.

This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available behind the building.
