"Growing Pains" Tale and Tunes of Lifelong Humor, Joy and Pathos

Join storytellers and musicians Chris Kastle and Rose van der Berg as they share an evening of laughter, pathos and growing in a Tale Tellers of St. Augustine production at the Limelight Studio Theatre.  However did you survive the slings and arrows of outrageous childhood? Or manage to live through the horror and humor of that first date? Or experience both the tears and joy of reconciliation? Or find peace in that last and final conversation? We all suffer growing pains -–the stuff of life!

Chris Kastle is a critically acclaimed and award winning singer, storyteller, song-smith, author, artist and educator—a touring performer and seasoned traveler who offers insight into a lifetime of adventure. Chris was presented with the Annette J. Bruce Lifetime Achievement Award by the Florida Storytelling Association.

Rose van der Berg is a “dynamic” storyteller and teaching artist who weaves eccentric characters, songs and improvisation into tales that explore the heart and humor of the human condition. She is an Orlando Story Club Grand Champion and a winner in Story Arts of Minnesota’s Great American Story contest.

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine is a performing guild devoted to the advocacy of storytelling as an art form and entertainment medium. The organization just celebrated its 25th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, they released a CD showcasing the depth and breath of the membership. It is a Florida not-for-profit corporation with a a 501 (c)(3) designation.
