Search for Old St. Augustine presented by the St. Augustine Archaeological Association

Dr. Chester DePratter will be presenting a lecture "Search for Old St. Augustine" focusing on his 2019 work on Anastasia Island in search of Old St. Augustine occupied 1566 to 1572. He and his crew worked in Oglethorpe Battery Park and in city rights-of-way along streets in Davis Shores.

Dr. DePratter is a Research Professor at the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of South Carolina.
