October is National Sensory Processing Awareness Month and the St. Augustine Art Association is once again hosting the Tactile exhibit with the Florida Deaf Blind Association and FSDB.

The annual Tactile Art Show turns the tables on museum etiquette and creates a fun and interactive opportunity for visitors to experience art in a unique way. Visually appealing but also engaging for the blind and visually impaired, the art in this exhibit includes sculptures, assemblages, ceramics, fiber, and other media.

The opening reception for the Tactile Art Show will be held on Friday, October 6th during First Friday Art Walk. The gallery will be open from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, with Awards presented at 7:00 PM.
