The Art Studio & Gallery of St. Augustine Beach is proud to feature Michele Renaud Slavik as our featured artist for the month of March. Michele’s background is Science and Chemistry, and she had a company in Colorado called Renaud Naturals. They manufactured skin care and body care products. The Art Studio & Gallery of St. Augustine Beach is proud to feature Michele Renaud Slavik as our featured artist for the month of March. Michele’s background is Science and Chemistry, and she had a company in Colorado called Renaud Naturals. They manufactured skin care and body care products. However, the favorite part of her ownership was designing the website and creating the labels for their product line. She realized at that point, that in her heart, she had always been an artist! Five years ago, she sold her manufacturing company and began concentrating on painting. Michele loves experimenting to give each of her works an individual expression. Painting has taken her on an amazing journey of self-discovery and to places only she can go in her imagination. She is humbled that others connect with her work and are willing to join her on her adventure. Michele’s paintings are mostly abstract/impressionist with a little reality and humor thrown in. She loves painting almost realistic portraits and nature images and works mostly with acrylics but also other media such as oils, watercolors, charcoal, ink and pastels. The Art Studio is available to rent for classes or as meeting space. Membership is offered at just $25.00/year although it is not necessary to become a member to participate in any of the variety of classes offered. Our regular studio hours are Monday-Saturday from 10:00 pm-5:00 pm. We are open on Sundays from 12pm-4pm.
