The F Word: Images of Forgiveness

The F Word: Stories of Forgiveness exhibition, a thought provoking collection of arresting images and personal narratives, explores forgiveness in the face of atrocity. Sponsored by Compassionate St. Augustine as part of its citywide Month of Forgiveness and Compassion, the exhibit was first launched in London in 2004. Since then this powerful and engaging exhibit has been displayed in over 300 venues worldwide. Drawing together voices from South Africa, the United States, Israel, Palestine, Northern Ireland and England, the exhibition examines forgiveness as a healing process, a journey out of victimhood and, ultimately, a journey of hope. The 24 stories that comprise this internationally acclaimed photo-documentary exhibit will be shown in two locations beginning Friday, February 6. Eighteen "F Word Banners" will be on display at Ringhaver Student Center at Flagler College from February 6-16. Six additional panels will be on display at the Corazon Cinema and Café, 36 Granata St., St. Augustine from February 6-28.
