The Secret - The Spanish Inquisition in Old St. Augustine

Jose, a “Finder” of Jews, Moslems and bad Catholics for The Spanish Monarchy and The Catholic Church, journeys to the New World in 1565. He is horrified to find Jews in La Florida. He pursues his commitment to purify the New World of heretics

It is 1613, in St. Augustine, FL and Jose Miguel Martinez, now an old man recounts his journey to La Florida with Pedro Menendez in 1565. As a young attorney, before the voyage, he served the Spanish Monarchy and The Holy Catholic Church as a Finder, one who “finds” Jews, Moslems and bad Catholics and reports them for their evil doing. Now, as an old man, he recounts his finding of Jews in the New World, his horror at that discovery and  his resolve to “do something about it.”
