Re-scheduled opening of a 20.8-mile multi-use recreational trail through the Tri-County Agricultural Area between Vermont Heights and Palatka.
Opening of the SJR2C Loop through rural southwest St. Johns County will celebrate America's Original Farm-to-Table Corridor -- Since 1565. The ribbon cutting April 6, 2019 will focus the agricultural heritage of rural St. Johns County and revive the once thriving farm center of Hastings. Ongoing development of the agricultural corridor along SR 207 is expected to start attracting an average 1,000 bicyclists and motorists each week through Hastings that will lead to new retailing and services.
Artist opportunities exist now, while a new resident initiative may lead to either a permanent artists facility or regularly scheduled art, music and food events. Stay tuned!
