Join us every Wednesday in February at 1pm for a series of matinee movies relating to the African-American Civil Rights Movement. Refreshments provided by our Friends of the Library.

2/3:  The Help starring Emma Stone, Viola Davis, and Octavia Spencer. This film is rated PG-13.

2/10:  Selma, a chronicle of Martin Luther King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965. This film is rated PG-13.

2/17:  Mississippi Burning starring Gene Hackman, Willem Defoe, and Frances McDormand. This film is rated R.

2/24:  The Long Walk Home starring Sissy Spacek and Whoopi Goldberg. This film is rated PG.
