Book Talk Cafe

Presented by Friends of the Ponte Vedra Library at Ponte Vedra Library

Florida Book Award-winner Patrick Kendrick is the featured author for this month’s Book Talk Café program at the Ponte Vedra Library. Kendrick, a former fire fighter and freelance writer, will appear on Monday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Kendrick’s first novel, Papa’s Problem, an historical mystery, won the Florida Book Award. His second book, Extended Family, a dark thriller, earned a starred review on Booklist. His third book, Acoustic Shadows, was published by Harper Collins in June, and his first young adult book, The Savants, was published by Suspense Publishing in September.

Kendrick was a Florida state certified firefighter, paramedic, special ops technician, fire instructor, and chief officer. Aside from his writing, he is the CEO of Fire O.W.L., a fire training and consultant company with contracts with the Department of the Defense and various private corporations.

Book Talk Café is presented by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Library, and is free and open to the public. The author’s books will be available for sale, and light refreshments served. For more information contact Vic DiGenti at vicdig@mac.com.
