Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch Program:St. Johns Reads: What Can You Learn from Your DNA?

Presented by Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine at Unknown

Join Friends for a special St. Johns Reads-themed Brown Bag Lunch Program! Just like in the story of the illegally adopted siblings in this year's choice, Before We Were Yours, our roots can be a mystery. Please welcome genetic genealogy specialist Connie Bradshaw as she helps us make sense of that mystery.

This program is free and open to the public. Seating begins at 11:00 am and the presentation starts at 11:30 am.  Patrons are welcome to bring their lunch. Light refreshments will be provided by Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.  For additional information, please call the Main Library at the number listed or email folmainlibrary@gmail.com.

St. Johns County Public Library System is pleased to present Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate for this year’s St. Johns Reads One Book, One Community Program. Join us throughout February for programs related to this fascinating book. The Finale Event will be an author presentation by Lisa Wingate at the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort on Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 pm.

Funding for this program was provided through a grant from the Florida Humanities Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of the Florida Humanities Council or the National Endowment for the Humanities.
