It’s a battle of wits between two feisty roommates at an assisted living facility with nothing in common but a rivalry that makes Bette Davis and Joan Crawford look like amateurs.
Pullitzer prize winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire’s hilarious new comedy, Ripcord, scheduled six performances at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center located at 102 M L King Ave., on Feb. 22-23 and Mar. 1-2 at 7:30 pm with matinees on Feb. 24 and Mar. 3 at 2:00 pm. Directed by Deborah Dickey, the cast is headed up by seasoned actors Jan LoPresti-Beach as the dour and opinionated Abby Binder and Nancy Grote as the oh-so-cheery Marilyn Dunne. Also featured is Ashley Carter as Scotty, their patient but harried “referee.” The cast is rounded out by Aaron Jockers, Julie Grayauskie and John Grayauskie, who join in the fun, scheming along with Bristol Place Senior Living Facility’s most engaging residents.
