Ponte Vedra Writers Meeting

Ponte Vedra Writers Meeting

Presented by Florida Writers Association, Ponte Vedra Beach Chapter at Unknown

Some authors write one book and consider it a career, but Dr. Edward Mickolus, who has published 35 books, dozens of scholarly journal articles, and scores of newspaper articles, considers it a promising start. He’ll share the secrets for becoming a more prolific writer at the FWA Ponte Vedra Writers meeting on Saturday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m.  at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Drive.

During his presentation, “How To Be(come) a Prolific Writer: Tips and Tricks on Writing and Publishing More Often Than You Think You Can,” Dr. Mickolus will draw upon the secrets of numerous writers, including the famous and the justifiably unknown, to offer techniques you can use to increase your writing productivity. He’ll also discuss time management methods for writers.

Dr. Mickolus wrote the first doctoral dissertation on international terrorism while earning a Ph.D. from Yale University. He then served in analytical, operational, management, and staff positions in the Central Intelligence Agency for 33 years.

The Ponte Vedra Writers group is part of the Florida Writers Association, a statewide, non-profit organization with nearly 1,500 members dedicated to the support of both aspiring and published writers in any genre. The February 16 meeting is free and open to members and non-members alike. For information on FWA please visit www.floridawriters.net.
