White Wines of France

Presented by Carrera Wine Cellar at Carrera Wine Cellar

With the challenge before him, our California Wine Dude, Bob Peters, has taken on this challenge with the second in his series of “Taking the Mystery Out of European Wine Labels”.

France produces some of the most beautiful white wines in the world, but perhaps you are reluctant to try a bottle of Sancerre because you don’t really know much about it.  What is the grape and where does it come from?  And most importantly, what does it taste like?  What is the difference between Pouilly Fume and Pouilly Fuisse?  We know that Bordeaux produces some of the greatest red wines, but what about their white wines?  And is a bottle of Chablis from California about the same as one from the Chablis region of France?  And what in the world is a Blanc De Blanc???

Join Bob on May 9th, at 6:30 p.m. as he answers these questions and more.  This promises to be a very interesting and informative class.  The cost is just $20++ per person and is limited to 12 attendees.  Call CWC today to reserve your spot.  904.217.4751
