Historic Coast Culture’s Farm-to-Fork Chef Series “Art ‘n Motion and Amazing Eats”

Historic Coast Culture’s Farm-to-Fork Chef Series “Art ‘n Motion and Amazing Eats”

Presented by St. Johns Cultural Council at Art ‘n Motion in St. Augustine

You are invited to the next Farm-to-Fork Chef Series Dinner

Chef Nils Rowland of “Creme de la Cocoa” & Chef Matt Brown of “Collage” and “Blackfly”

These two top local chefs come together to collaborate on an extravagant multi-course meal showcasing fresh produce from local farms and including signature desserts, wine pairings and local spirits.

The costar of the dinner is “Art ‘n Motion.”

Art 'n Motion was created to display classic and rare automobiles available for sale. The rare cars in Art ’n Motion’s “showroom” have been collected by the founders and other car owners who display them for car lovers and collectors. The elegant two-story car gallery’s floor-to-ceiling windows facing the San Marco Avenue attract car lovers by appointment only. Now, you too will be able to marvel at these pristine vehicles as you dine, including an ultra-rare 1970 Nissan Z432 and as Iconic 1930s Cord 810.

About our Chefs

Award winning Nils Rowland and his wife Bailey are masters at handmade chocolates, marshmallows, specialty desserts, cookies, brownies, oatmeal cream pies and macaroons, as well as custom cakes for any occasion. “Providing uniquely flavored and hand painted truffles, petite dessert shots, and full sized dessert slices, Chef Nils can honestly be considered one of the top chocolatiers in the United States.” Source: “Foodie Road Trip: Eating our way through The Ancient City,” Jacksonville Restaurant Reviews

As you may recall, Chef Matt Brown partnered with Chef Michael Lugo of “Michael’s Restaurant” for our extraordinary Inaugural Farm-to-Fork Chef Series Dinner last November, “Captain’s Catch.” Executive chef at “Collage” and “Blackfly” Restaurants, Chef Matt and Collage were awarded one of the 100 top restaurants in the nation by OpenTable®. Offering a first-class, award-winning dining experience, his menu focuses on fresh local seafood, steaks, lamb and veal, using international flavor profiles.

During this intimate, elegant dinner, each chef will talk about their amazing culinary creations. In addition, the event will also feature local musicians, artisans and the farm-to-table produce from the local farms.

Watch for more information on the menu for this multi-course dinner to come.
