The 2016 International Youth Ballet Festival's Gala Performance will be held July 1 at 7:00pm at Pedro Menendez High School. Mr. Oleg Vinogradov, former Artistic Director of the Kirov Ballet, will be directing the event with faculty from St. Petersburg, Russia. The Festival is open to local ballet students who will receive 10 days of instruction in Classical Ballet, Historical Dance and Character Dance. In addition, students will be selected to attend the 2017 International Youth Ballet Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia!! The event is produced by the Classical Dance Alliance, Inc. The end-of festival performance is free and open to the public in an effort to promote the preservation and enjoyment of classical dance in America.
