Ponte Vedra Writers Meeting

Ponte Vedra Writers Meeting

Presented by Florida Writers Association, Ponte Vedra Beach Chapter at Unknown

Structuring and writing a nonfiction book is easy—if you know what to do. And that’s where Erik Deckers comes in. Deckers will lead a workshop on “How to Structure and Write a Nonfiction Book” at the FWA Ponte Vedra Writers meeting on Saturday, August 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

“There are a few different ways to organize a nonfiction book, depending on your subject matter and your purpose, and knowing how you’re going to organize the book can make the thing so much easier to write,” Deckers said. He will provide a step-by-step process for writers to follow.

The Ponte Vedra Writers group is part of the Florida Writers Association, a statewide, non-profit organization with nearly 1,500 members dedicated to the support of both aspiring and published writers in any genre. The August 24 meeting is free and open to FWA members and non-members alike. For information on FWA, please visit www.floridawriters.net.
