WHAT ARE "UPTOWN SATURDAYS"?
From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month, San Marco is especially popular with fashionistas, art lovers and antique shoppers for the Uptown Saturday Event. Uptown Saturdays take place year-round and combine a festive party atmosphere with hospitality and special deals in the unique shops on St. Augustine's San Marco Avenue, concentrated between Ripley's Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios. Many participating shops also serve refreshments. The event is sponsored by the San Marco Avenue Merchants Association. The Mission Nombre de Dios provides free parking most months.
