St. Augustine in the 1930's and 1940's, a lecture and book signing by Beth Rogero Bowen

Presented by St. Augustine Historical Society at Southeast Branch Public Library

As a part of the St. Augustine Historical Society Lecture series, Beth Rogero Bowen presents her new post card book St. Augustine in the 1930's and 1940's. Travel back in time along the original route of US 1 through the city, and see what was happening during the Great Depression and World War II through postcards from that era.  Along the way, Bowen explains what were some of the most important events in St. Augustine during the time of the Great Depression and World War II. Beth Rogero Bowen' s new post card book St. Augustine in the 1930's and 1940's will be available for sale at the lecture and a book signing will follow her lecture.

The lecture and book signing will be held at the St. Johns County Southeast Branch Library at 2 pm on Friday, October 25th. This event is open to the public, seating is first come, first serve.

If you can't make this lecture and book signing, Beth will be giving the same lecture and book signing on Tuesday, October 29th a 7 pm in the Flagler Room, Flagler College.
