The Florida Heritage Book Festival Writers Conference offers a mix of creativity and practical advice for writers. Take your writing to the next level, network with other authors, and learn from the pros. Join us for workshops and insights from professional writers who are living their dreams.

Thursday's workshop with author Janice Hardy, is a hands-on workshop, guiding you through the novel-planning process and helping you find the plot and story within your idea. Janice Hardy is the award-winning author of The Healing Wars trilogy, the Grace Harper series, and multiple books on writing. Hardy is also the founder of Fiction University, a site dedicated to helping writers improve their craft.

Friday's sessions include presentations by such authors as Rod Martinez; Steph Post; Rich Wickliffe; and other award-winning Florida authors.

Saturday's writing critique sessions are by advance registration only and attendees will be limited to three written pages each. Pages must be submitted at time of advance registration. There will be no registrations at the door. Reviewers will include award-winning journalist and best-selling author, Craig Pittman; and Roy Peter Clark, author/editor of 18 books and writing instructor at Poynter Institute to students of all ages since 1979.
