The Shooter - Gun Violence in America

The Shooter - Gun Violence in America

Presented by Lee Weaver Special OPS at Unknown

"The Shooter" is a two hour drama written and presented by Lee and Nanette Weaver of St. Augustine, FL. They portray Bill and Joan Blake, producer and director of a live taping in a Chicago television studio for, they hope, PBS or NPR. Mrs. Blake interviews nine persons (all played by Lee) whose lives have been dramatically effected by gun violence. While both Blakes deplore the gun violence sweeping the country, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum with regard to guns in America. She would have them all confiscated if she could; he is a Second Ammendment defender and owns several guns himself. This is not a musical comedy! Come prepared for some heavy material. The doors to the theater will be open at 5:15 pm. Please come hungry and thirsty. The affordability of this venue is largely because The Corazon Theater hopes the patrons will avail themselves of their wonderful menu.
