Inaugural Christmas Open House following ecclesiastical services at St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine
Located in the Colonial Quarter, the Shrine will be open December 8th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. All are invited to the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy celebrated by Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos. An afternoon celebrating Christmas with Greek traditions will begin at 1:00 PM. See the Chrystougeniatiko Karavi, hear the Carols, partake of Greek savory treats and sweets.
Join Shrine staff and trustees in welcoming the newly appointed Hierarchal Proistamaenos (Pastor), Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos, to St. Augustine at this first event held during his tenure.
Admission is free but all attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable item which will be donated to St. Johns Food Pantry.
