The festival’s mission is to connect St. Augustine to our city’s Spanish history through a series of special events that feature Spanish wine, cuisine and culture.
Friday, Feb. 28 is the Cava and Dinner located in the historic Flagler Room and the Solarium of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. This is a chef-guided Spanish culinary and wine experience taking place from 6 – 10 p.m. There will also be an auction to complement the 5 course meal paired with 5 wines. Saturday, Feb. 29 is the Grand Tasting event located at Markland House and flowing throughout the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum and the newly restored Alumni House, all on the beautiful campus of Flagler College. This event takes place from 2-5 p.m. and features Spanish wine tasting and food pairing with local artisan chefs and wine makers. There will be 4-6 featured tapas paired with 100 Spanish wines.
The festival serves to raise money for local charities, provide memorable experiences for visitors, foster international economic development and enrich the quality of life in our community.
