Music and Art by the Sea - Opening Night September 9th

Presented by St. Augustine Beach Civic Association at St. Johns County Ocean Pier

Join in the fun each Wednesday at the 18th Anniversary Season of Music by the Sea. This free family-friendly concert series is for tourists and locals alike and features a different band each week. This year features a new "Art" component to enjoy while listening to great live music.

Beginning at 3 PM, The Art Studio will be showcasing the talent of the local art community. Entrance to the Art Studio is free!

Gates open for the concert at 4:30 PM - there is limited seating this year to help keep everyone safe.  Tickets are free but you must register for the ticket lottery at www.freebeachconcerts.com. Tickets will be randomly selected each Monday.  Winners will be notified via email.  No walk in will be permitted.  Digital temperature check required.  Physical Distancing will also be required.  Masks should be worn when physical distancing is not possible.

At 7 PM, the fun starts with a different band and genre of music each week. This series offers a wide variety of music including jazz, blues, classic rock, pop, reggae, disco, and country and is each Wednesday starting September 9th through the 30th.

Visit The Art Studio before the concert. The Studio will be filled with unique and affordable art for you and someone you care about. Show someone you’re thinking of them as you choose a one of a kind piece. Give the Gift of Art! The concert series this fall will feature acoustic acts from multiple genres including pop, classic and southern rock along with rhythm and blues.

Accessibility Info

The concert itself takes place inside the Pier Pavilion. The entire park and pavilion is owned and managed by St Johns County Parks & Recreation. The park and pavilion meet all ADA requirements including handicap designated parking spaces, restrooms, and a ramp allowing access to the pavilion itself. As the sponsor of the event, The St Augustine Beach Civic Association marks and maintains an area for those in wheelchairs inside the pavilion near the band.
