Lorraine Millspaugh is based in Florida. Within her work, she is inspired by the elegance found in Florida's wildlife. Her acrylic paintings illustrate aquatic birds and sea turtles, as she additionally personifies each subject to bring meaning to the painting. She finds significance in only allowing her work to exist as an original painting, without any reproductions. Each painting has many layers that can be revealed by light.
