Historic Florida Militia presents “School of the Sixteenth Century,” a reenactment of daily life in 16th-century Saint Augustine with musket firings, fighting techniques, and a representation of daily life in the Ancient City.
Historic Florida Militia is happy to announce they will be presenting “School of the Sixteenth Century.”
This event has been modified to meet COVID safety regulations and will be held at the Colonial Quarter Museum located at 33 Saint George Street on Saturday, February 13th from 12-4 PM. Come see presentations of 16th-century life including crossbow demonstrations, matchlock musket firing, sword fighting techniques, historically accurate clothing, and life as it would have been in Saint Augustine so long ago.
