Identifying plants can be a difficult study. However, there are tools you will learn in this class that can make it easier for the local naturalist. During this project, you will research native naturalized and invasive plants and trees in their habitats.

Learning about plants and the habitats they live in is important to understand the ecology of the area and how the fine-tuned system work together. Explore the relationship of the plant, soil, and water to discover the relationship with the animals and birds as well.

Science is now discovering that plants are more aware of their surroundings than once was thought.

This program is $75 per person, per module for three weeks of research and adventure including four-part classes and field trips. You must provide your own transportation to classes and field trips on weekday evenings and weekends. Registration to all four parts is recommended, but not necessary.
