Chamber Music Series: Bartram Trail Chorus

The Bartram Trail High School choirs have been under the direction of Barbara Mattingly for the past nineteen years. Bartram’s choral groups regularly receive superior ratings in Florida Vocal Association adjudication. Honor Choir participation includes performances with the EPCOT Candlelight Processional and Massed Choir, Jacksonville Sings!, Stetson University High School Choral Festival, Florida All-State Choirs, Charleston International Festival of Choirs 2014, Manhattan Concert Production’s National Festival Choir 2018 in Lincoln Center, and 2019 appearance in Carnegie Hall.

BTHS Choral Director Barbara Mattingly holds a BA in Music from the College of St. Catherine (St. Paul, Minnesota) and a Master's of Music Education from Florida State University. She has been a choral music educator in the St. Johns County Schools since 2000 and Minister of Music at Memorial Lutheran Church in St. Augustine since 1998. She performs as a collaborative pianist with the St. Augustine Chamber Singers and has sung twice with the Chamber Singers in New York’s Carnegie Hall.
