John Suchy will be the featured Artist for the month of June at the PASTA Gallery located on 214 Charlotte Street in the charming city of St. Augustine.

The P.A.St.A. Art Gallery is the oldest co-op gallery in St. Augustine and the art of 18 member artists is exhibited! The styles and mediums displayed in this gallery make it a Hidden Treasure in this Romantic town.

The exhibit is titled:

Life is a Trip!

John was born in 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up on Long Island. He studied at the School of Visual Arts, The Art Students League, and the Pan American School of Art in Manhattan. He worked for 15 years in the Advertising business as a designer and Illustrator and has been creating and exhibiting his art of Manhattan since 1968. He is now represented in the Central Park Art Gallery located on west 57th street in Manhattan.

In 2020, John and his wife Mirian moved to St. Augustine. John has been working diligently on scenes of the St. Augustine surroundings! This exhibit combines some of his Impressionistic oil paintings of Central Park, NYC, and oil paintings of the city of St. Augustine and beach scenes. The contrast of these two cities shows that nature can still bring peace to the soul.
