Light up the Night: Fireworks

Light up the Night: Fireworks

Presented by City of St Augustine Beach at St. Johns County Ocean Pier

Please join in the celebration and help the City of St. Augustine Beach and our local businesses Light Up the BEACH! this 2021 holiday season!
Our second annual Light Up the BEACH! season runs from November 27, 2021, through January 1, 2022, and features several fun events for visitors and locals to enjoy!
The events will be set against a backdrop of fabulous, multi-colored light displays mainly down A1A Beach Boulevard as well as throughout Pier Park and in our parkettes.
The light displays are a collaborative effort between the city and local businesses to celebrate all that the beach has to offer this holiday season.

New Year's Eve Fireworks Show!

This is a Fireworks show ONLY. There is no festival in Pier Park. There are no vendors, no band or any other activities happening in Pier Park. There are no buses, very limited parking, and very limited transportation provided by Old Town Trolley shuttles.

The shuttles will have ONE pick up location only at Anastasia Baptist Church. The shuttles will drop off on A1A Beach Blvd. at A Street, 10th Street and Pier Park.
With very limited transportation, the city cannot guarantee that people will arrive in time for the fireworks show if they choose to wait for a shuttle. Please expect long lines and long wait times.
We highly encourage visitors to walk, bike, take public transportation, Uber, LYFT, Taxi, carpool etc.
Limited public parking is available in the City Hall parking lot, Ron Parker parking lot, Pier Park parking lot and the YMCA parking lot.
Enjoy the fireworks from multiple beach locations including the shuttle drop off locations at A Street and 10ᵗʰ Street and anywhere from 10ᵗʰ Street South.
Beach driving and parking will be allowed as normal from A Street South. Due to the recent storms and erosion, there is no beach viewing at Pier Park.
This will be a community-based celebration, offering a true taste of St. Augustine Beach. Whether
the plan is a weekend stay at one of our local hotels or are a local resident looking for a wonderful night out with family or friends – the Boulevard will offer something for everyone.
