The Redcoats are coming!
Be a part of the 40th Annual British Invasion. The Night Watch ceremony is an impressive pageant of color and light that reflects the British customs of St.Augustine, during the British Occupation 1763-1784.
Activities start Friday in Francis Field, with a full schedule on Saturday, leading up to the Parade downtown. At 7:30 pm all are invited to bring a candle and follow the Night Watch Colonial Torch Light Parade down St.George Street to secure the City Gates. Then back to the Plaza to hear the Governors holiday proclamation, Soldiers will fire a Volley of Joy to celebrate the season. For the grand finale, Residents & Visitors sing Christmas carols in the Plaza.
