Doreen Hardie’s landscapes are done in an impressionist style that reflects her deep faith and eye for the beauty of the world around her. A student of the late Greek painter, Antonis Karafyllakis, Doreen is inspired by the diversity of the places she’s traveled to and lived. “I don’t feel I am finished with a painting,” she says, “until it begins to sing to me.“

Doreen has shown her works in several galleries and art shows in Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, Delaware, and Florida, and has won ribbons in a number of juried shows. Her paintings are also in private collections around the United States, Jamaica, Japan, Australia, and Europe.
