January Poetry Open Mic

Presented by Ancient City Poets at Online/Virtual Space

Gather in the Zoom Room and on FB Live during January, February, and March and come out of our cocoons in April for National Poetry Month.

Poets: If you would like to share a poem or two about the new year, please send an email to acpapalitmag@gmail.com to get on the reading list. You will receive a reply with the zoom link and the password. The room will open at 2:30 PM EST on Sunday, January 30th.

Poetry Fans: At 3:00 PM, the zoom feed will be sent to the Ancient City Poets FB Page via FB Live, so the world can watch and cheer on the poets, just like an in-person reading.

Here is the link to their FB page to view the reading live on Sunday, January 30th:

They will then call up the first 15 names to present at the virtual podium. Please limit presentations to five minutes. The reading will be recorded and an edited version will be uploaded to the Ancient City Poets YouTube channel a few weeks later.
