Now in its 80th Anniversary year, The Storytelling Sims, Wayne & Jane, remember the days of World War 2 when Troops, Shortages, Submarines, Saboteurs & War Bonds were a daily part of existence for St. Augustine residents.
Wayne & Jane Sims are historians, humorists, and tandem tellers who bring accurately researched and crafted stories from out of the past to revisit 1942 and the challenges that impacted the Old Town. "What?!? No more girdles???"
The Sims have performed together since 1994 at hundreds of community events, libraries, retirement communities, and festivals from Florida's River of Grass to Carolina's Blue Ridge.
Romanza Festivale of Culture and the Arts showcases concerts, shows, exhibits, and more by dozens of St. Augustine talented arts and cultural performers and non-profit organizations. April 29 - May 15, 2022.
