"Holding Down the Homefront: WWII Comes to St. Augustine"

Presented by Romanza and St. Johns Cultural Council at The Waterworks

Wayne & Jane Sims are historians, humorists, and tandem tellers who bring accurately researched and crafted stories from out of the past to revisit 1942 and the challenges that impacted the Old Town.  "What?!?  No more girdles???"

The Sims have performed together since 1994 at hundreds of community events, libraries, retirement communities, and festivals from Florida's River of Grass to Carolina's Blue Ridge.

Romanza Festivale of Culture and the Arts showcases concerts, shows, exhibits, and more by dozens of St. Augustine talented arts and cultural performers and non-profit organizations.  April 29 - May 15, 2022.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  FREE parking for The Waterworks is accessed through the St. Johns County Main Library parking area at 1960 N. Ponce de Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine.  There is no access to parking at The Waterworks from San Marco Avenue.
